I'm highly sensitive and strong smells often give me headaches. Yet, I love perfume. With the personal kit, I could explore scents that were pretty different, but none of them were too much. I fell in love with Milk and Gold. Great kit, especially for that price...

Personally, I was most drawn to the Milk and Gold fragrances – both stood out with their distinctive character and elegance. I also really enjoyed Moss, which has a fresh and intriguing scent that feels both natural and uplifting.

I have tried other kits like this and was disappointed immediately. This kit blew me away! The instructions on how to test the scents, learning that they change over time - it really helped me figure out which were right for me. And because they change over time, the original one I thought was for me, wasn’t. But I found two that pair perfectly for me! Worth it for sure!

I bought myself this kit, after hearing about Commodity through perfumerism's videos. I was so enticed by all the scents listed and I just wanted to smell them all. My boyfriend and I had so much fun trying to compare notes, pick favourites and see how they changed over time. My personal favourite is moss, and it's helped me to discover that I just love bergamot and oakmoss notes 10/10. I think this would be a fun gift too because there's something for everyone to enjoy!

I got this kit for myself and also to find a wedding scent for my husband/fiancé. I also had a few other samples outside of this set for Velvet and Milk Orchid. My favorites were Gold & Milk Orchid. I thought the best, more masculine scent, was Moss. I tested all of the samples on my wrist or inner elbow. Here are my non-professional, normal human thoughts!:

-Velvet: At first spray, this made me think of residual cigarette smoke. After a few hours it was less smoky but still nothing special to me.

-Paper: Smells just like fresh book pages! After a few hours the scent settles quite a bit and is pretty faint. Still like a book but also kind of like dried sweat.

-Gold: My initial notes were vanilla, cozy, & kinda like a root beer float? After a few hours I described it as a warm, amber, vanilla hug.

-Juice: Fresh & fruity! A very classic perfume smell.

-Milk: Initially I thought this had some sort of vanilla & cinnamon smell. After a few hours it was more musky and nothing extraordinary. However I could still smell it on my wrist 24 hours later!

-Book: This is a weird one. Initially smells like natural bug spray. Likely due to the eucalyptus. After a few hours it does get sweeter and more skin like.

-Moss: Initially described it as tangy, fresh, and maybe citrus. After a few hours it softens and is much warmer. I wish it lasted longer though. After about 3 hours I had to reapply.
